I would join a golf club,get a tax lawyer and put my money in off shore bank. Or I would donate more,perhaps corner turning amounts, for projects, for groups I already support,like my towns education fund and a historical preservation group as well as fund a local Arts festival.
Well I could surely help my kids out . They work harder for less reward in dollar terms than I did and they worry about things like public schools not offering their kids as good an education as they had and insurance costs eating up their paychecks. I could give more to the candidate of my choice,which seems the most I can do these days ,for the candidate of my choice. I could give more to the food pantry in town and help transport seniors to Dr. appts.etc by injecting a mil or so for a better public transportation system. Yes I could accomplish all of this if I made 5 million per year in my little town. What could you do with your piece of the pie in the sky?
